Trinec Iron and Steel Works

We visited the Trinec Iron and Steel Works in the Czech Republic which produces over a third of all steel produced in the Czech Republic (about 2.5 million tons annually). On our tour we learned the whole process of making steel, the differences in types of steel, and all about the steel business in the Czech Republic. I'm not really into this kind of stuff but we got to see the big furnace which was cool and climbed all the way to the top and I love being on top and being able to see everything.
