Krakow and other small trips

We visited a salt mine in the Czech Republic and it was very interesting. When we got there we were told that we can lick the walls for free since it was included with the tour. Our tour guide was really funny. It was interesting learning all about the miners back in the day and how the mines worked. First we went down an endless staircase to get to the bottom where our tour began. There were three levels that we explored. There was a lot of statues and objects all made of salt which was pretty cool.

All the following people are made of salt:

While in Krakow we visited the Archdiocesan Museum of Cardinal. Krakow is one of the most religious countries in Europe so all over the country you can see a lot of posters and statues of religious figures like Pope John Paul II. We also visited Virgin Mary's Basilica. Which was completely full of people when we went. A couple of us actually stayed for like 20 minutes of mass even though we didn't understand a thing. It was nice though.  That same day me and a friend also saw St. Anne's church which is a baroque church and the architechture was really cool. We also went to the famous cupcake factory in the town which has the best cupcakes and ice cream. We had some traditional food, pasta and dinner at a hamburger place and they were the best hamburgers we've had in a while so we had to go back the next day for lunch. Krakow was a very lively city with random people dressed up in costumes all over and stuff. Overall it was a great trip to Krakow.
